Open Event
CT Trail Days/Cornwall Trails Day. On June 7 starting at 9:30 at the Foote Field Pavilion (and parking opposite 60 Furnace Brook Road, Cornwall CT 06753). Let’s celebrate Cornwall Trails by assembling then splitting up to walk our preserves and trails that radiate out from Cornwall Village. They are of varying difficulty: Furnace Brook (reclaimed fields and wetlands-easy mile), Ballyhack (forested pine and laurel ravine- moderate 1-2 miles) , Foote (gently sloping field with classic valley views- half mile), and Cathedral Pines (steep old forest- 1-2 miles). Bring a sandwich and something to share for lunch at noon. Leased dogs welcome. Beware of ticks.
