Hike the full 2.6 mile Finch Brook Trail. Although this trail is mostly level, it is a bit rocky and muddy in places. Sunscreen not necessary as the trail is almost entirely under forest canopy. Definitely bring insect repellent and water. Recommend hiking boots, not sneakers.
Only heavy rain will cancel, so plan on rain gear if drizzling or light showers are possible.

The Finch Brook Trail begins and ends at the cul-de-sac at the end of Barbara Drive in Wolcott. Parking there is easy. Please bring the kids and the dogs (though must be leashed)!
