Wildlife Biologist Peter Picone , JoAnne Picone (Nature Enthusiast) and Betsy Corrigan (Botanist)  will take you on an educational walk along a segment of the Tunxis trail that traverses Sessions Woods Wildlife Management Area’s (WMA) Beaver Pond Trail (brand new board walk overlooking a beautiful wetland created by beavers).  Leaders will share their knowledge about a variety of wildlife species and point out the components of habitat including the native trees, shrubs, wildflowers, and grasses that forms the backbone of the biological diversity found at Sessions Woods WMA. The walk will be on gentle terrain and will be chock full of neat facts about wildlife and habitat. Bring your binoculars and water to stay hydrated.
