Come Join Scouts from Ellington’s Troop 96 for a hike around the Northern CT Land Trust’s Bellante and Boothroyd trails in far eastern Ellington. These two trails meander through several Mountain Laurel groves that should be starting to bloom in early June. The trails also pass by several large glacial erratic boulders including the “Sitting Rock” which overlooks the pond that forms the head-waters of Bonemill Brook and the impossibly “Balanced Boulder” which is perched at the property’s high point.
