This hike will go on the New England Trail and the Yellow Blazed Berlin Land Trust trail to the Lamentation Mountain ridge. Depending on the group we may add some mileage on the ridge to make it to the Hawthorne Fire site and an extra viewpoint. Also, we are working on completing an additional trail section so hopefully we can utilize it. There is some traprock footing along the way and the trail up to the ridge is fairly steep. Definitely wear sturdy enough hiking shoes / boots and bring something to drink and perhaps a snack.

You can find Lamentation Drive in Berlin off Spruce Brook Rd which runs between the Berlin Turnpike and Savage Hill Rd / Atkins St.
