Join Women of the Woods (WoW) for a 5+ mile hike on the Mattabesset section of the New England Trail (NET) in Durham, Madison, and Guilford. We will pass through a variety of forest ecosystem and enjoy the nice rock outcroppings and the view from the ledges at the beautiful Mica Ledges preserve. There will be the usual CT ups and down with a few short steep rocky sections. More details can be found on the event registration page on the Everyone Outside website.
Women of the Woods (WoW) is a program of Everyone Outside and is open to all those who identify as female or gender nonbinary. In addition to hiking, we take the time to admire the beauty around us, learn a bit about the flora or fauna, do some exercises to connect with the natural world (mostly sitting quietly) and enjoy each other’s company.

Meeting Location Details

Cream Pot Rd, Durham

We will meet at the Mica Ledges parking area on Cream Pot Rd, Durham and carpool 4 miles to the hike start location (Bluffhead parking area on Rt 77, Guilford). Detailed directions to the Mica Ledges parking area will be sent to all registrants.
