We will twist and turn and walk up and down moderate hills while taking in beautiful views of Pratt Cove in Deep River. You may even see the Essex Steam Train! The Deep River Land Trust directors will accompany us sharing expertise on geology, birds, plants, and trail design. We may even see nesting Osprey! Pratt Cove is part of the tidal marsh system protecting the CT River, designated by The Nature Conservancy as a Wetland System of International Importance.
