Open Event
Hike 6.5 mile moderate paced through varying terrain. There will be step ups and downs. Stops along the way to learn about the history of plants and animals. Beautiful overlooks of the Farmington River Valley. Two boardwalks through the wetlands one meandering 840 feet through at least 5 micro ecosystems, the other stretches 240 feet out into the beaver meadow wetlands.

Follow East River Road North for about one mile from the junction of RT # 181 and # 318 in Pleasant Valley.
Turn right onto Greenwoods Rd, (At the Peoples State Forest shield sign)
