Open Event
On a trail system through Simsbury Land Trust we will ascend the red trail northward to a viewpoint overlooking Simsbury, Granby and beyond. We will descend steeply to the white trail westward and then to the blue trail through a geologically interesting valley. There is a lot of hill climbing and challenging footing. Participants should bring drinking water, perhaps a snack, bug repellent, and perhaps hiking poles.

There is off street parking for perhaps ten cars at the trailhead. Others may park on one side of Pasture Lane, across Westledge Road from the trailhead.
