Step Into the Secret Life of the Forest! Join naturalists Michelle Poudrette and Beth Merow at Bigelow Hollow State Park for a hands-on walk that brings the forest to life. Discover how fungi farm algae to become lichen, run your fingers through a mossy carpet, lift a rotten log to meet its tiny residents, explore understory shrubs thriving beneath towering trees, and even learn how toads drink water!
Parents should consider if a young child can hike 3.5 miles.
