At the half-way point we will reach the Tri State marker. Where you can literally be in three states (MA, CT, RI ) at the same time. This is where we will stay for a few minutes for picture taking and to hydrate. We will continue on the loop trail back to the parking area. Not part of the planned hike just up the trail from the parking area is the area where you can see some old foundations of the depot area and the rebuilt turntable.
