Join CFPA’s Office Manager, Teralyn and a CFPA Volunteer and Trail Manager Teresa for a fun nature walk through Harwinton Recreation Area. This easy-moderate hike will be filled with nature-on-the-go- learning, history tidbits and a chance to learn some iPhone camera tricks that you may not know.

What to bring:
-plenty of water
-a snack in case we decide to stop for a bit
-sunscreen, and insect repellent are recommended
-wear good hiking shoes
-hiking poles are optional

Reminders:
*It is tick season. It is wise to tuck your pants into your socks and/or wear tick-repellant clothing.
*Some sections can be muddy if it’s wet the week prior.
*It’s important for parents to closely supervise children

Finally, in the event of a bad weather postponement, an email will be sent by 8am Saturday morning letting you know if we will do the hike on Sunday or give a make-up date.

We cannot wait to meet you on Saturday!
