With a little guidance, even a casual wanderer can learn to “read” the woods and uncover the hidden history beneath their feet.

Join CFPA’s Board Forester, Mike Ferrucci, for a guided ramble through the beautiful and varied 94-acre Hibbard Forest. As a team of woodland detectives, we’ll explore the signs of past land use, piece together the forest’s story, and discover how history has shaped the woods we see today.
