Open Event

Hike Redding’s longest “long trail” skewering (as the Book of Trails puts it) three open space properties of the Land Trust, two Town tracts, and a preserve owned by the Connecticut Audubon Society. Hike 4.6 miles over moderate terrain with some road walking to connect preserves. Good footwear needed for several wet portions, a steeper section, and several stream crossings where trekking poles will be useful. Bring water and maybe a snack. This is a one-way hike and requires car spotting /pooling.
