Open Event
Beginning at the historic Comstock Covered bridge, we will walk along the scenic Salmon River, then through the Salmon River State Forest and Day Pond State Park. Your guide will be Dave Boone, CFPA Trail Manager for the Salmon River Trail. We will visit Day Pond Brook falls–bring your camera!! Plan to have a quick lunch at the picnic area at Day Pond. 7 miles round-trip. We will travel at a moderate pace. There is several sections of somewhat steep terrain. Bring lunch and water. Meet at the Comstock Bridge parking area. DO NOT USE the Google maps location of 14 Bridge Street, it is on the wrong side of the river.
