A point-to-point hike on the Shenipsit Trail over moderate terrain with average ups and downs and views from Lookout Mountain. Hike will go from Birch Mountain Road in Glastonbury to Bolton Notch. Requires car spot. Rain cancels.

Bolton Notch commuter lot, US 6/44 in Bolton.
From east, take US 6 or 44 to I-384 in Bolton Notch, take immediate exit onto 6/44, commuter lot is a short ways up on right. From west, take I-384 to exit for Rt 85, turn left at end of ramp, follow to traffic light at 6/44 and turn right, follow 6/44 to commuter lot on left.
