Open Event
A lollipop-shaped hike with views of the Salmon River, a waterfall and a pond. Starts with a moderate climb with views of the Salmon River, then a relatively level loop in Day Pond Park and then downhill along the same route that we ascended. Includes remnants of an old village within the park. Rain cancels.

Comstock Bridge Road, East Hampton
From Route 66 in East Hampton, take Rt 16 east, from Rt 2 in Colchester take Rt 16 west. Take 16 to Comstock Bridge Rd on the north side of 16 at the East Hampton/Colchester town line, turn onto road and parking lot is immediately on right next to a covered bridge.
