Experience historic Pequot Woods Park on this well-marked woodland trail. You will find lots of granite outcroppings, stone and wood bridges, streams, a pond, and viewing benches.

You will do some rock-hopping to get over some wet spots, so please wear appropriate footwear. The trail is moderately challenging but family friendly.

Artifacts from Pequot Woods Park are still being cataloged today from the 1637 battle among colonists & local tribes, known to historians as the Massacre at Mystic. After this attack, the colonists and their allies retreated through these woods.
