Meet members of the Bolton Conservation Commission as we identify the diverse native trees within an unfragmented forest along a newly blazed trail within the Nathan Hale Greenway. Discuss the latest on Proforestation and Natural Area Stewardship, and the advantages of allowing natural processes rather than active management to shape a forest. See a very productive vernal pool, the site of a salamander survey, adjacent to numerous love trees where nature has been allowed to take its course.
