One of my favorite places to hike in Connecticut. We’ll hike a loop from Sessions Woods up through Nassahegon State Forest on the Tunxis Blue/Yellow and Blue/Orange trails. Sights include a small canyon known as Devil’s Kitchen, plenty of old stone walls, a pretty stream, colonial era mill ruins and a nice new bridge over Whigville Brook. Trail is rocky in parts and can be muddy so wear appropriate footwear. Bring, water, bug spray, sunscreen, maybe a snack and something to carry those in.
