All hikers must pre-register online. No dogs or children under 18 years old. Meet at 8:45 for a prompt 9:00 start to this 8-mile, out-and-back hike to Roaring Brook Falls, the highest single-drop waterfall in CT. Hiking poles are strongly recommended, as parts of the trail are steep and rocky. Hikers must wear appropriate hiking footwear (no sneakers) and carry at least 2 liters of water per person, snacks or light meal, sunscreen, insect and tick repellent, personal medications and first-aid supplies.
