The hike will take us from Mohawk Pond to the terminus of the Mattatuck Trail. Our plan is to stop at the Mohawk Mountain to view Bear Mountain in the distance and Lions Head. We will continue onto Cunningham Tower and end our halfway hike at the Mohawk ski lifts. I like for us to pack a lunch and stop for a quick bite to eat . We can also discuss my experiences on the trail and talk about the history of the Mattatuck Trail. Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring your hiking gear that contains food, water and medical supplies if needed. I suggest bringing your hiking poles, have good boots or trail shoes if so wish. I am not responsible for any mishaps but will be sure everyone is safe during our hike. We will be sure to maintain a pace that will suit everyone’s abilities.
