This hike is at the Mad River Dam Flood Control Area and is in the process of having a formalized trail in the future. Hiking boots / sturdy shoes are a must as several difficult hiking sections persist along paths overgrown with vegetation. There are also wet sections along the proposed pathway. We very much recommend wearing sunscreen, and insect/tick repellent. NOTE: The trail does not yet exist, but is in the process of being proposed.
