Come explore a new trail on land owned by Morris Land Trust. Joan’s Trail was created in 2023 by Eagle Scout James Asman and Troop 28 of Morris, CT. The trail traverses an old logging road, crosses a stream and climbs to a rocky outcropping. It is named in honor of Joan Bertaccini, a founding member of the Trust who donated this beautiful property to us.

Take Route 118 east out of Litchfield. The trailhead is 7/10th of a mile from the turn off from route 118 onto Clark Rd. and is situated across from telephone pole 77030 on the left side of the road. Park on the shoulder of the road.
