Open Event

Explore the Pratt Preserve’s Trails: Join the Canton Land Trust for a hike on the Waquaheag Trail on our Pratt Preserve. Come to the preserve between 2:00 and 3:30 pm on Sunday, June 2 and be greeted by hike leader Phil Philbrick, President of the CLCT.  Phil will provide hikers with a trail map and brief introduction to the loop trail. Then hikers will follow the clearly blazed trail on this stunning property. The trail is about 1 mile in length and moderate in difficulty. Start by crossing the bridge over Cherry Brook and choosing your own direction on the loop trail. Please return before 4:00 and join the Board for the CLCT for our annual meeting at the Pratt Cabin. Hikers should wear sturdy shoes and bug spray, bring water and a snack, and please leave dogs at home. The Pratt Preserve is located at 84 Cherry Brook Road.  Park either in the small parking area on Cherry Brook Road, or follow the driveway down to another parking area further down the hill.
