Old Furnace State Park is located in Killingly, CT. It is mainly known for the cliffs that rise 200 feet above Furnace Pond. This hike is around 4 miles and includes the entire Old Furnace Trail with a climb to the top of the cliffs above Old Furnace Pond. This hike has some hills, and the trails have lots of rocks and roots.

We are meeting in the parking lot located on South Frontage Road. The trailhead where we will meet is at the far end of the “U” shaped driveway.

South Frontage Road can be accessed from Rt 6, just east of the I-395 interchange.
