Join DEEP Foresters Jerry Milne and Jill Humphreys as they show you the clues they’ve discovered about the land use history of Mattatuck State Forest. A charcoal mound, a town line monument, a mill site, and even a lime kiln are all found near this section of the Mattatuck Trail. And it wouldn’t be a walk led by foresters unless there was some tree identification!
