Join Gary Goeschel, East Lyme Planning Director for the 8th Annual Connecticut Trails Day Hike along the Goodwin Trail at Darrow’s Pond. Open to all ages, meet at the Darrow Pond trailhead, 16 Mostowy Road, East Lyme. This year we will be looping this hike back to trailhead and parking area. Points of interest will include: 47-acre Darrow Pond vista, 20-acre shrubland habitat, early successional forest, wolf trees, vernal pools, and the 18th century abandoned road Aunt Ruth’s Turnpike.
