This family friendly nature hike will bring you into the magnificent 100-acre Solomon Woods. A guided hike along the blue trail will explore a variety of wildlife and inspect evidence of the glaciers that once covered Milford roughly 17,000 years ago. We will pass vital vernal pools used by the resident amphibians to breed each spring. Abandoned rock walls and wells highlight the previous uses of the property. There are two new bridges along the trail but there are still small stream crossings that require rock hopping. Please wear sturdy shoes or sneakers. Leashed dogs are welcome to attend.
