We will meet at Willimantic Whitewater Park on 28 Bridge Street — come early to enjoy the Farmers Market. We will tour the park, including viewing the dam and the rapids, then proceed down Railroad Street to Church Street to Valley Street to Main Street and back to the park. On the way, we will view the public art, both obvious and bold –and some hidden and “secret.” You can wear everyday shoes or sneakers, but probably not high heels. After the “hike,” you can stop back into downtown Willimantic for lunch or coffee.

Parking is available at the park, at the plaza across the street from the park, and on nearby Railroad Street. I will be near the Farmers Market table to check in the participants.
