Join this moderate-level hike (approximately 1.5 hours) at Cornwall Conservation Trust’s Trinity Forest Preserve, led by conservation leader, HVA Board Member, and CCT President Barton Jones!

The hike will feature a conservation-focused discussion as the group takes in the scenic views of the Preserve.

Participants will meet at 2pm at the parking space at the top of the Preserve, on Dibble Hill Road between house numbers 134 and 152.

Wear hiking shoes, breathable fabrics or light clothing, and bring sunscreen and water.

Barton Jones is an active environmentalist and the recipient of the Connecticut Land Conservation Council’s 2024 Katchen Coley Award for Excellence in Conservation due to his unparalleled work in Connecticut’s Northwest Corner. In addition to serving as President of the Cornwall Conservation Trust since 2011, he is also HVA’s Board Secretary, an alternate member of the Housatonic River Commission for the Town of Cornwall, and a Board Member of the Cornwall Foundation.
