Open Event
Salisbury Association Land Trust’s annual bird walk at the Schlesinger Bird Preserve. 84 species of birds have been recorded at this e-bird hotspot. The property is managed as shrubland and is a good place to see colorful migrants like Blue-winged warbler and Indigo bunting. The walk follows a figure-8 mowed trail traversing grassy, shrubby, and forest edge habitats. George Wallace, a bird biologist who recently retired from the American Bird Conservancy, will lead the hike. Bring binoculars if you have them, and dress for tick prevention.
