Join Hartford Audubon Society for a 1+ hour beginner’s birdwalk for families in this beautiful HAS preserve. You’ll be introduced to birdwatching and learn about apps on your phone to help you recognize birds. We’ll look for birds, discuss the ecosystem, and enjoy being in nature. Easy slow walking, about 1/2 mile in total. Bring binoculars, smart phone, sturdy sneakers, insect repellent, water, and snack. Children ages 6 and older are welcome. Leader will have some binoculars to loan to participants. Email leader to register.
