Join the NWCTY – Torrington Trails Network on a hike through this beautiful upland park on the East branch of the Naugatuck River. The hike is approximately 1.5 miles on the yellow blazed trail around Madden Pond. This hike is for all ability levels, but does have short but steep rocky sections, water crossings and mud. Hiking boots and drinking water are recommended. Pre-registration is NOT required, but parking is limited. The hike will feature extensive beaver works and a heron rookery. Leashed and well-behaved dogs are permitted.
