Open Event
In celebration of CT Trails Day, the Middlebury Land Trust will be having a hike of the Foote Path, on Saturday, June 7th from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Hikers will meet at 136 Breakneck Hill Road, and MLT representatives will shuttle hikers to the starting point at the Straits Turnpike entrance to the Sperry Preserve. If preferred, people can drive to that point and meet the other hikers at 11:15 AM, but should note that there is very limited parking at that location, and the road is a very busy one.
This hike is a bit over two miles, of moderate difficulty, as it covers terrain that includes wetlands, rocky and hilly terrain. This event is family and leashed dog friendly.
Following the hike at 1pm, the Pulawski family will be offering lemonade and cookies to participants at 136 Breakneck Hill Road, Middlebury.
