Travel Thru Time ! Starting in the Ice Age ….Did you know that is when Long Island Sound was formed? Next is a journey from the Native American occupations to the 19th Century farmers. Then into the 20th Century and the Purchase of this Land (island) for Ct’s First State Park. From the Nature Center there are 5 Interpretive Panels, some dig sites and waterfront pine forests. It is mostly flat walking w/ tree shade in spots. Wear good Shoes as some parts of the walk is off paved areas. We suggest a Hat, water and a phone.
