Land trust president and long-time AMC hike leader Janet Ainsworth will explore the Guilford Land Conservation Trust’s Nut Plains Woods trail system, beginning at the main parking area of the town’s East River Preserve at 55 Sullivan Drive. We will follow the New England National Scenic Trail from Sullivan Drive to where it connects to the Nut Plains Woods trail system, hike a loop within Nut Plains Woods and then return to the East River Preserve. Hiking boots or shoes and hiking poles are recommended. The hike is co-listed with the Appalachian Mountain Club and the Guilford Land Conservation Trust.
