We will begin at Timberline Park Golf Club in Berlin and start the hike on the Metacomet loop trail making our way north towards Ragged Mountain. At the 2 mile mark we will begin the toughest climb of the day ascending 475ft over the next mile. Once on the top of the ridge we will be treated with some great views overlooking the Wasel Reservoir dam. The next 3 miles meander on a downward trek around the mountain. As we begin to head south making our way back there are some more great views overlooking Lower Heart Pond. From here we are just 2.5 miles from where we started. Let’s celebrate our accomplishment with some good eats at “Remzi’s Par For The Course Resturant” a full-service restaurant and bar!
