Hike the Metacomet Trail from the Rt 189 bridge over the Farmington River in Tariffville to a viewpoint above the Tariffville Gorge with spectacular view of the Wild & Scenic designated River, then descend to view the rapids frequented by white water paddlers, before retracing our steps.

Park just off of Rt 189 north of bridge over Farmington River in Tariffville, CT. Additional parking available across the street on Old Hartford Avenue. We will start hike at Metacomet Trail access on east side of Rt 189 just north of bridge.
