There will be two distinct scavenger hunts, both taking place along the scenic trails of Prospect Mountain. They will begin and end at the Pepper Meadow Trailhead. There will be a scavenger hunt designed for children ages 7 and up that starts at 10am. This adventure invites young explorers on an exciting quest to uncover natural wonders and hidden historical treasures along the way. Another scavenger hunt designed for children under age 7 will take place in the Pepper Meadow from 10am – 12pm. There will be walking trails and activities perfect for younger children.
Parents or guardian must accompany children throughout both hunts.

The Pepper Meadow is located on Prospect Mountain Road. The trailhead and parking lot is at 309 Prospect Mountain Road in Litchfield CT and is known as the Pepper Spur Trailhead. Parking will be available in the parking lot and along the road.
