Open Event
Join the Deep River Land Trust (DRLT) as we celebrate the soft opening of the Canfield Connector Trail. We’ll hike up and over two existing properties and have a brief (75 yard) road walk before entering the new trail. The Canfield Connector trail utilizes a recently acquired town property to join up with the Canfield Woods trail system.
The Canfield Connector climbs a steep hill, using a number of climbing turns, passes an intriguing foundation and gains approximately 80 feet in elevation before joining the Canfield Woods Old Foundation trail (orange blazed). There will be options for different length loops in Canfield Woods before retracing our steps back to the cars.
