Join us as we walk the Van Epps Preserve and learn about the features that make this preserve special. Guides to our walk will point out habitat to a number of mammals, reptiles, amphibians and birds including coyotes, red bats, box turtles, owls, and hawks. Our guides will describe the land’s history as well as the variety of species of plants and trees. We will also learn about Native American ceremonial stone structures seen in the area. Portions of the walk accessing the uplands may be strenuous so wear hiking shoes.
