Are you interested in history? trolley trains? a pleasant walk to a river? osprey sightings? If so, come celebrate the 12th year of partnership between the Shoreline Greenway Trail and the Shore Line Trolley Museum.  A Museum volunteer will take us for a ride along the museum’s scenic track through the Farm River estuary. Participants will disembark at a platform to walk to the old dike at the Farm River, visit the remains of an old crushing plant, and talk about its history. After the walk a museum volunteer will take us on a tour of the old trolleys, including the PATH train car that survived 9/11 at the World Trade Center. For further information, see the Trolley web site at shorelinetrolley.org or the Shoreline Greenway Trail website at shorelinegreenwaytrail.org. Wear good walking shoes, some rough terrain.
