Join the Torrington Trails Networks through this beautiful upland park on the East branch of the Naugatuck River. These hikes are for all ability levels, including youngsters!
There will be two hikes:
1. Easy (1.5 miles flat abandoned town road with muddy areas)
2. Moderate (2.5 – 3 miles rising/falling terrain, water crossings, and numerous rocks and other obstacles – hiking boots recommended.Parking is limited. Both hikes will visit extensive beaver works, while the longer hike will see hawk nesting trees, large glacial boulders, and hidden streams.
