Trust for Public Land (TPL) and East Coast Greenway Alliance celebrate TPL’s 50th anniversary and Connecticut’s linear parks with Ride the East – Long Ride!  Leave Manchester Community College and travel along the Charter Oak Greenway to the Hop River State Park Trail and arrive at the CT Eastern Railroad Museum in Willimantic.(22.9 miles – 2.5 hours) For the return, we will head back on the bucolic Hop River State Park Trail for 27.7 miles. An on-road section connects us to the historic Cheney Rail Trail and then back to the Charter Oak Greenway.
Water and snack stations are provided. Many volunteers to ensure riders complete their trips successfully.  Cancellation announced here and on “Ride the East” Facebook. Helmets required.
