Mindfulness Walk

Nature Walk

4 miles round trip

Shinrin-Yoku, “forest bath” was coined by the Japanese Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries in 1982 and can be defined as making contact with and taking in the atmosphere of the forest.
We will be doing a relatively quiet, mindfulness walk in the Salmon River State Forest by connecting with all our senses as we take in the energy the forest has to offer. There will be stopping points along the way for re-centering and observation. This is designed to relieve stress and improve our health & wellness. We will proceed across the Viaduct then take a left into the Salmon River State Forest. Please, no pets or young children, at this time, as the focus is for ourselves.
