Mansfield Hollow Hike

Sat. Jun 4

10:15 am

01:30 pm

4.8 miles

From the Mansfield Hollow Picnic Area we will hike north on the Blue Blazed Nipmuck Trail along the west side of Mansfield Lake and cross Route 89. We will return south along the east side of Mansfield Lake. This hike is about 4.8 miles long. While there are no long or very steep up-hills, there are many sections where the trail tread is rocky and/or root covered.  There is at least one small stream crossing that we will have to rock hop over and there may be fallen trees that we have to climb over. Appropriate dress, hiking footwear, water and snacks are all necessary for a safe and enjoyable hike.
