Welcome to Connecticut Water Company’s Killingworth Reservoir loop trail. The hiking trail is open to all state residents at no cost. Since the trail is located within the public drinking water supply watershed area of the Killingworth Reservoir, the Connecticut Department of Public Health has approved this hiking program with appropriate special precautionary measures to ensure the continuous protection and quality of the water supply source, particularly regarding proper waste disposal and the prohibition of contact with any water bodies along the trail.

Meeting Location Details

We will meet at the Platt Nature Center located at 344 Roast Meat Hill Rd, Killingworth. We will walk together to the trailhead, which is about 350-ft south along Roast Meat Hill Rd.
