Everyone is invited to come out and explore the Hetzel Refuge in Middlebury with land management volunteer, Dave Terry. The Hetzel is a pristine wooded refuge of 66 acres and offers prime observation areas for both birds and animals. It has an excellent trail system, which not only includes woodlands, but also hayfields, conifer plantations, swamps, and several man-made ponds, all of which provide a haven for wildlife.
