To kick off the Trail Passport Program join us for a guided hike at the Old Hibbert Property on 310 Old Colchester Road at 10am.  This is a great opportunity to get your first stamp while discovering a historic mill site, dam remnants, glacial erratics, and scenic vistas of Raymond Brook.  Park either on the grassy area along the west side of Old Colchester Road (near yellow “caution-pedestrian” sign) or at the Air Line Trail designated parking.  Meet at the chained entrance path.  The trail is an easy to moderate 2 miles round trip with some muddy spots, hiking shoes are recommended.  Allow 1.5 hours to enjoy this hike.

The Hebron Trails Passport program is designed to get you out to visit and explore some of the Town of Hebron’s most beautiful open space properties. Pick up your Passport on June 3rd between 9a-12p at the Hebron Farmers and Artisans Market at Hebron Elementary School. From there, you have one month to visit and explore at least four our of the seven properties on the passport. Stamp each property that you visit with the stamp located somewhere on the trail, maybe at the beginning, maybe at the end, maybe in the middle! Bring your stamped Passport to the Hebron Farmers and Artisans Market on July 1st to receive a prize!
